Meet Lilian
Growing up in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, I dreamt of traveling beyond my borders and exploring the world. When I finally got the chance to visit the U.S. at 21, it felt like going to the moon!
After that first trip away from home, I got bit by the travel bug hard. My desire to discover went into overdrive and I yearned to visit the gorgeous coastline of Greece, the Baroque cathedrals of Italy, and the wild plains of Africa.
Well, I did finally make that trip to Greece—nearly 30 years later. In the meantime, I moved to the U.S., married my husband (still in love after 28+ years!), and raised my family. But the Mediterranean still always called to me … so to celebrate a milestone birthday, I boarded a flight with my husband, sister, and brother-in-law to the Greek islands. From the freshest Greek salads to the clearest turquoise waters I had ever seen, the trip was more than I had dreamt of—and it was made all the more special because of the loved ones I chose to share it with.
