As a luxury travel advisor, I help couples through the entire destination wedding process! Over the years within my industry, I have come to specialize in wedding travel planning. One of the most important, toughest, and most time-consuming parts of planning a destination wedding is deciding on a destination and a resort. It seems like it should be easy enough, right?! But with so many choices, finding the right resort can get complicated if you don’t know what you need or what you’re looking for. And, by the way, your resort selection will affect every aspect of your wedding day!
It can be very daunting to find an all-inclusive package unless you are already familiarized with the resort & destination. The reason that finding the right resort is so important, is it’s often the largest part of your budget. Secondly, your resort will also have an impact on the rooming and lodging options for your guests. Considering that, selecting an all-inclusive resort will help your guests decide whether or not they’ll be joining at your chosen destination.
When I work with my clients to plan their destination weddings, I look at the all-inclusive experiences that put a premium on value and convenience. That way, their wedding will delight their family and friends, with no unexpected expenses! I could go on for days about properties that mislead couples, or deceive them with photos that don’t properly depict the location! I’d hate to think of how many couples they duped into having a wedding on their property that turned out anything less than unforgettable.

Part of my process is to kick things off with a free phone or video consultation. During that call, we will review your destination wedding vision and budget. I’ll then provide you with destination and resort options that match your vision.
Once we begin working together, one of my tasks will be to create a room block contract with the resort(s) of your choice. Your room block will also include an overview of anticipated costs for your guests. I also work to create comps from the resort of your choice such as:
